■ Meter display settings that can be changed

• Language

Select to change the language displayed.

• Units

Select to change the units of measure displayed.

• Meter Style

The design of the meter display can be changed.

• Dial Type

Select to change dial type.

• (EV indicator)

Select to enable/disable the EV indicator.

• (Driving information display settings)

Fuel economy display

Select to change the average fuel consumption display between after start/after reset/after refuel.

• Hybrid System Indicator

Select to display/not display the Eco Accelerator Guidance.

• (Audio settings)

Select to display/not display the audio system linked display.

• (Vehicle information display settings)

Select to change the displayed content of the following:

• Display contents

Select to display/not display the energy monitor.

• Drive information and Trip A/B items

Select to set the first and second items of the drive information display to any of the following: average vehicle speed/distance/elapsed time.

• Pop-up display

Select to enable/disable pop-up displays for each relevant system.

• Multi-information display off

Select to turn the multi-information display off.

To turn the multi-information display on again, press any of the following meter control switches .

• Default setting

Select to reset the meter display settings to the default setting.

■Suspension of the settings display

• Some settings cannot be changed while driving. When changing settings, park the vehicle in a safe place.
• If a warning message is displayed, operation of the settings display will be suspended.

WARNING

■Cautions during setting up the display

If the hybrid system is operating while changing certain settings on the settings display, ensure that the vehicle is parked in a place with adequate ventilation. In a closed area such as a garage, exhaust gases including harmful carbon monoxide (CO) may collect and enter the vehicle. This may lead to death or a serious health hazard.

NOTICE

■During setting up the display

To prevent 12-volt battery discharge, ensure that the hybrid system is operating while setting up the display features.

Suggestion function

Displays suggestions to the driver in the following situations. To select a response to a displayed suggestion, use the meter control switches.

■ Suggestion to close the power windows (linked to windshield wiper operation)

If the windshield wipers are operated with a power window open, a suggestion message will be displayed asking if you wish close the power windows.

To close all of the power windows, select "Yes".

■ Suggestion to close the power windows (Driving at high speeds)

If the vehicle speed exceeds a certain speed with a power window open, a suggestion message will be displayed asking if you wish to close the power windows.

To close all of the power windows, select "Yes".

■ Suggestion to turn on the headlights

If the headlight switch is in other than or , and the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or higher for a certain amount of time when the surroundings are dark, a suggestion message will be displayed.

■ Suggestion to turn off the headlights

If the headlights are left on for a certain amount of time after the power switch has been turned off, a suggestion message will be displayed.

When the headlight switch is in the AUTO position: The message asking if you wish to turn the headlights off is displayed. To turn the headlights off, select "Yes".

If the driver's door is opened after the power switch is turned off, this suggestion message will not be displayed.

■Customization

The suggestion function can be turned on/off.
